The name of Alexey Venetsianov (1780-1847)associated with the development of domestic genre in Russian art. "Two peasant boys with a kite" (1820) –is an uncomplicated picture of this genre - full of warmth and respect for the common man, his moral wealth. Venetsianov founded in the village Safonkovo his own school of painting for teaching children of serfs. Over 20 years of existence, the school has given Russia a lot of interesting names.
