It can be observed on these paired male and female portraits by Grigory Serdyukov (1744 -?) poorly-known artist, a representative of the Moscow school of painting, who consisted in the State of the St. Petersburg's "Office of the buildings." The undoubted masterpiece of its kind is a poetic "Portrait of an Unknown" (1775), refined in its cold silver-bluish tones, which is characterized by a rigid interpretation of graphical garment accessories.
